Node One
Open-source handheld for sensory regulation and off-grid communication. ESP32-S3, haptic feedback engine (DRV2605L), LoRa mesh networking. No internet required. No phone required. No permission required.
Building the tools that don't exist yet — communication processing, sensory regulation, executive function support. Open source, offline-first, mesh-resilient. Built by the people who need them.
Three layers. Each works independently. Together they form a mesh —
no single point of failure. Every node is a peer.

Communication processing layer. Detects emotional voltage — urgency, coercion, shame, threat patterns — before messages reach a vulnerable person. Holds incoming signal. Gives you time to think. Time you were never given.
Unified dashboard. Medication tracking, cognitive metrics, environmental sensing, mesh network status. Your entire executive function stack in one place. Not a wellness app — a cognitive prosthetic.
Traditional encryption assumes computational difficulty. We assume physics.
SIC-POVM measurement geometry detects eavesdropping through system tomography — not error rates.
"We do not have assistive technology for the largest disability demographic on the planet. We have wellness apps."
Wheelchair ramps exist because someone in a wheelchair demanded them. Screen readers exist because a blind engineer built one. Closed captions exist because Deaf advocates sued for them.
There is no equivalent infrastructure for cognitive disability. No communication prosthetic that processes emotional subtext. No executive function scaffold that works offline. No sensory regulation tool that doesn't require a smartphone and a subscription.
P31 builds them. Open source. Apache 2.0. Mesh-resilient. Because the person who needs it most is often the person least able to navigate the system that would provide it.
Founder & Principal Engineer
16 years as a federal submarine electrician. Diagnosed AuDHD in 2025 — after decades of building workarounds that turned out to be assistive technology prototypes. Now building them for real.
P31 Labs is a Georgia 501(c)(3) nonprofit in formation, operating under Hack Club HCB fiscal sponsorship.
Every node strengthens the network.
